Bornite Mountain

A Treking Page

Greetings from Terrace, B.C. Canada!

Bornite mountain is east of Terrace, on highway 16, you turn off at Kleanza creek, just past the bridge on highway 16.You drive 4.6 km then turn left and travel another 7 km to a parking area. The beginning of the trail is steep and overgrown. Plenty of blue berries to sample on the way up. The trail is an old mining trail with plenty of switch backs. On the top and way up you will run across mining equipment and mines. Again the views are spectacular. Dress warm though, it can get cold up there.
